We've put this quick page together to give you all the information you need regarding your window cleaning service!
The Process
Step 1: We text you before each clean
We will text you around 7pm the day before each clean is due so you know we're coming, and as a reminder to leave your back gate unlocked for the day and windows closed if you can.
Step 2: We clean your windows!
We use our reach and wash system using our own purified water so
that your windows dry naturally without leaving any dry water marks
for a crystal clear, streak free finish. This includes cleaning the frames,
sills, glass and the front door!
Step 3: Payment
After your clean is complete you can pay either in cash or card whilst we are there. But we are asking for all new customers to sign up to our direct debit service. Payments will be collected in 3 - 5 working days, at the agreed amount, and only after a clean has been complete.
Step 4: Repeat
6 or 12 weeks later, depending on what you sign up for, the cycle begins again!
Preparing for a Clean
The House
Please leave the back gate unlocked for the day and your windows closed if you can, so that we can swing in and complete the clean.
The Garden
Please ensure the access walkways are clear so that we can get ourselves, poles and hoses through without any problems. ie. wheelie bins being left in and blocking the passageway.
As much as my partner and I are dog lovers, please can you clear up any dog mess before we attend a clean. Simply because we are looking up at the windows when we are cleaning, and not down where we are stepping. Also if a hose unknowingly gets dragged through it, it ends up on our hands, in the van and could end up on faces so we ask for this to be minimalised please.
If we cannot access the rear of the property
If in the event we cannot clean the rear windows of the property due to a locked gate we cannot open ourselves, or there is heavy soiling from dogs in the rear. The rear will not be cleaned and a 30% discount will be applied your usual window cleaning price.
Most window cleaners will reserve the right to charge the full amount if the rear cannot be cleaned. However we like to be fair. But it's also worth mentioning that it's 30% and not 50% because the price includes driving to your house, setting equipment up etc.
Payment
Options Available
We have a few options available on how we take payment.
Cash is fine if you're in, or you can leave it out in the garden for us as long as you tell us where you're leaving it.
We carry a card reader, so if your in, we can take a card payment at the door, contactless enabled.
If you're not about when we do a clean, we will put a slip through your door telling you we're been. This slip will have an amount due written on it, and our bank details for you to send it to. Most our customers will send over payments the same day, but if not, it must be sent within 7 days.
Direct Debits
We have partnered with GoCardless, which enables us to collect the payments for each window cleaning automatically. This normally happens around 3 - 5 working days after the clean. So you don't have to physically make payment or remember to log into your online banking!
This is our preferred Payment method for our customers as it helps us keep on top of payments and helps us offer a seamless service. It is not mandatory, but please consider clicking the button below to set up a direct debit mandate.
